Privacy policy
Last updated 14 September 2026 · sodafitusa.com
This policy explains what happens to information when you visit sodafitusa.com. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account and we have no login.
- We never take payment, so we never see a card number.
- The only personal data most visitors give us is an email address, and only if they choose to write to us.
- Affiliate links carry a tracking parameter so the retailer can attribute a sale. That is how this site is funded.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we hold your email address and whatever you wrote, for as long as needed to deal with it and to keep a record of corrections made to our pages. We do not add you to a mailing list; we do not have one.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our host records standard server log data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages requested and timestamps. This is used for security and to understand which pages are read. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that reports aggregate traffic rather than identifying individuals.
Affiliate and campaign parameters
If you arrive with tracking parameters in the URL (for example utm_source or a sub-ID), those are carried through to the ordering link so that a purchase can be attributed to this site. They tell us which campaign brought a visitor; they do not tell us who you are.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses browser session storage to remember, within one browsing session, when a page element such as the offer timer began. It is cleared when you close the tab and it is not shared with anyone.
Where analytics are used, they may set a cookie. The official retailer sets its own cookies once you click through to its checkout — at that point you are on their site and their privacy policy applies, not ours.
What we never do
- Sell or rent personal information. There is no circumstance in which that happens.
- Collect health information. We do not ask about your health and you should not send it to us.
- Knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This site is not aimed at children.
- Take or store payment details.
Third parties
Our web host processes traffic on our behalf. Google Fonts serves the two typefaces used on this site. Affiliate network and retailer systems handle click attribution and, after you click through, the entire transaction. Each operates under its own privacy policy; we do not control them and we would encourage you to read the retailer's before you buy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export the personal data an organisation holds about you, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these with us, write to [email protected]. Because we hold very little — usually nothing more than an email thread you started — most requests are quick to honour. We will never charge you for one or make you jump through hoops.
Residents of California, of the European Economic Area and of the United Kingdom have specific statutory rights along these lines; the same address handles them.
Security and retention
The site is served over HTTPS. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful, then deleted. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise; what we can say is that there is very little here to lose.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site after that means you accept the revised policy.
